Thank you for your concerning about us relating to the Quake on March 11th. We are happy to inform that all scholars, professors and staffs at the University of Tsukuba are safe, although many parts of the University were dameged phisically. Those are getting recovered now.

We welcomed fifteen scholars for the ninth cohort of PEPPM after a month delay attributing to effect of the Quake and another concern about Fukushima Nuclear Plant.  They finished one-week orientation program after arrival and have already started their course works of each Master Program.  For the orientation and welcome reception, PEPPM received a visit by Ms. Danielle Carbonneau from the World Bank Institute, Washington D.C.

Thank you for all inquiries about our admission.  PEPPM DOES NOT administer an entrance examination in summer, 2011 and next recruitment activity is expected to be conducted in next summer (from early summer to the end of August 2012)  PEPPM is a two-year Program, admitting new participants every two years and next program will start in Aplil, 2013 and end in March, 2015.  When application materials are ready next year, we inform on this website.  (June 22, 2011)
